Fulvihum Biostimulant Fertilizer

  • Stimulate the physiological metabolism of plants.
  • Enhances the crop’s ability to absorb water and nutrients.
  • Enhances plant resistance to adverse conditions such as high temperature, drought, floods, and during their growth.
  • Can chelate even with some of the usually poorly soluble micronutrients, promoting the absorption, utilization, and transport of essential nutrients by the roots.
  • If applied in combination with other nutrients such as Nitrogen, Phosphorus, and Potassium it has demonstrated to be more efficient in nutrient uptake.

FULVIHUM is extracted from a high-grade source of the Leonardite mineral which gives it a very high content of both Humic and Fulvic acids plus natural biologically active trace elements. It is a concentrated Humic acid substance and a 100% water- soluble high-quality plant growth stimulant and soil conditioner.

FULVIHUM (Potassium Fulvate) can be considered a biostimulant. Biostimulants are substances or microorganisms applied to plants, seeds, or the soil to enhance nutrients uptake, stress tolerance, and overall plant growth and development. While Fulvihum does not itself contain live microorganisms, it has properties that can simulate plant growth and improve soil health.

  • Chlorophyll Production: Magnesium is a central component of the chlorophyll molecule, which is essential for photosynthesis. A sufficient supply of magnesium helps plants produce chlorophyll efficiently, leading to healthy green foliage and optimal photosynthetic activity.
  • Enhancing Crop Resilience: Plants often face adverse conditions such as high temperatures, drought, floods, or pest infestations during their growth. FULVIHUM can enhance plant resistance by promoting the synthesis of proline and the accumulation of sugars. It increases the activity of cell-protective enzymes such as peroxidase and catalase. It also adjusts the plant’s physiological state under stress, including factors like cell membrane permeability and transpiration rate, helping plants resist external stress.
  • Improved Quality: FULVIHUM can chelate with some poorly soluble micronutrients, promoting the absorption, utilization, and transport of these essential micronutrients by the roots. It can also increase the activity of enzymes, converting polysaccharides into soluble monosaccharides, leading to the synthesis and accumulation of starch, proteins, and fats. This accelerates the transfer of various nutrients to fruits and seeds, resulting in plump, high-quality produce.
  • Foliar Application: The application of Humic acids in combination with trace elements and other plant nutrients, in the form of foliar sprays, can improve the growth of plant foliage, roots, and fruits.

By increasing plant growth processes within the leaves an increase in carbohydrate content of the leaves and stems occurs. These carbohydrates are then transported down the stems into the roots where they are in part released from the root to provide nutrients for various soil microorganisms on the rhizoplane and in the rhizosphere. The microorganisms then release acids and other organic compounds which increase the availability of plant nutrients. Other microorganisms release “hormone-like” compounds which are taken up by plant roots.

In combination with nitrogen, potassium, phosphorus and various trace minerals, FULVIHUM has been demonstrated to be from 100 to 500 % more efficient compared to applications of similar fertilizers to the soil. Foliar fertilizers are also more economical because smaller quantities of fertilizer are required to obtain significant plant response.

Plant nutrients within foliar fertilizers are rapidly absorbed by the plant leaves. Within 8 hours after the application of humates substances many different metabolic processes are detected. Enhanced carbohydrate production can be detected within 24 to 48 hours after foliar feeding by use of a refractometer. Enhanced carbohydrate production can either result in improved product quality or increased yields.

Foliar applications can be timed to meet the needs of specific plant growth requirements such as to activate vegetative growth, flowering, fruit set, or filling and ripening of fruits. Energy metabolism is accelerated, and the chlorophyll content of plant leaves is enhanced by the presence of humate substances. When applied to plant leaves the chlorophyll content of those leaves increases and as the chlorophyll concentration increases there is a correlated increase in the uptake of oxygen.
